Concept pilot · 37 boxes · 16 SkyPorts
Parcels that fly to the last barangay.
LipadBox puts solar-powered smart parcel boxes on remote islands and in the mountains of the Philippines. Drones restock them from regional SkyPorts, CCTV watches every bay, and the box doubles as the village Wi-Fi hotspot. Families track every delivery in one app.

Ops console
Run the network like a strategy game.
This is a live digital twin of a SkyPort. Trucks reverse into the docks, forklifts carry parcels to the drone pads, drones fly to Olango and nearby islets, and the ferry docks while the crane unloads containers. Click anything to see its battery, payload and shipment, or switch sites from the top bar.
The ecosystem
From warehouse to the last island.
Parcels are sorted at three fulfilment centres, then ride cargo ships and RoRo ferries or air cargo to regional SkyPorts. From there, drones fly the final hops to LipadBoxes in island villages. Drag to rotate, click then scroll to zoom, and hover over anything for details.

Inside a SkyPort
Every parcel finds its way out.
This is a live physics simulation of a SkyPort sorting floor. Parcels roll off the truck, collide and jam on the belts, and get scanned and diverted to one of three exits: a Long drone pad for far islands, the RoRo ferry for bulk, or Mini drone staging for nearby islets. Drag any parcel, or click one to read its label.

The network
Every route is a valid hop.
Two drone classes, two radii. Long-range VTOLs fly up to 100 km between pads, and Minis island-hop up to 20 km at a time. Every leg on this map is computed and checked against those limits. It is also checked against the 10 km no-drone zones around airports, and each box shows its nearest hospital.
How it works
Four handoffs, every one logged.
-
01
Book in the app
The sender or online shop picks the recipient's LipadBox and pays with GCash, Maya, a card or cash at a partner store. Each parcel gets an LPD tracking number.
-
02
Courier to SkyPort
Lipad riders collect the parcel. It is consolidated by region and sent by ferry or air cargo to the nearest SkyPort, scanned at every stop.
-
03
Drone flies the last leg
A Long VTOL hops up to 100 km between charging pads, and a Mini covers the last ≤20 km between small islands. The parcel goes down through the rooftop hatch into a free bay.
-
04
Unlock with OTP or QR
The recipient gets an SMS and a push notification, walks to the box and enters a one-time code. CCTV records the pickup and the chain of custody is closed.
The Box
A post office, a cell tower and a guard post in one cabinet.
Each LipadBox runs off-grid and is built for typhoons, salt air and long periods without power. It can be installed at a barangay hall, a school, a health station or a sari-sari store.
- 12 baysSmall, medium and large, plus 2 cold bays (2–8 °C) for vaccines and insulin
- Drone hatchPrecision landing pad with an ArUco marker and an auto-closing roof hatch rated IP66
- Off-grid power400 W solar and a 5 kWh LiFePO₄ battery for 3 days of autonomy
- ConnectivityLEO satellite backhaul, LTE where available, and public Wi-Fi for the barangay
- Built toughAnchored steel frame rated for Signal No. 4 winds, with a corrosion-proof marine coating
- 4 camerasPad, front, side and in-bay cameras, with edge AI detection and a 30-day encrypted archive
Internet
Every box is also a hotspot.
The satellite link that runs the box is shared with the community. Students download modules, fishers check the weather, and families video-call relatives abroad, all within 100 metres of the box.
CCTV & security
Nothing moves without a camera seeing it.
Every bay, landing and pickup is recorded, timestamped and tied to a tracking number. Edge AI flags tampering in real time, and our 24/7 control room in Cebu can talk through the box speaker.
Tamper & motion AI
Vibration, door-force and person-loitering detection runs on the box, so alarms still fire when the satellite link is down.
Encrypted OTP & QR
Codes are single-use, expire after 72 hours and only work at the assigned bay. After 3 wrong tries the bay locks and the control room is alerted.
Chain of custody
Every handoff (rider, port, drone, bay, recipient) gets a scan, a photo and a signed timestamp you can show to an insurer or a court.
Barangay tanod link
Alerts can go to the local tanod and PNP desk by SMS, with a 10-second clip attached.

The app
Send, track and unlock in one app.
Available in English, Filipino, Cebuano and Ilocano. It works on low-end Android phones, and when there's no data, SMS fallback carries tracking updates and unlock codes.

Courier system
Drones fly the hard part. People run the rest.
LipadBox is a hub-and-spoke network that plugs into the couriers and shops people already use. Local riders earn per drop and handle doorstep delivery, returns and heavy items that can't fly.
Lipad Riders
Locals with a motorcycle, bangka or carabao cart earn ₱35–₱80 per doorstep drop from their own barangay's box. They get paid daily to GCash.
Box Keepers
The host (a store owner, barangay or school) gets a monthly fee, free Wi-Fi and a commission on every parcel, and keeps the solar panels clean.
Returns & pasabuy
Drones fly back empty, so outbound parcels like handicrafts, dried fish and coffee ride to the city at 50% off.
Emergency mode
After a typhoon the Samar–Palawan relay corridor opens: medicine, blood samples and satellite phones fly pad to pad across the Visayas, coordinated with LGUs and the NDRRMC.
Pricing
One flat price to any LipadBox.
The price is the same to Batanes or Tawi-Tawi, and it includes CCTV-recorded handling and ₱5,000 insurance. These are concept prices.
